Founder, True Pitching Development
Tommy has spent 12 years in collegiate athletics as both a player and a coach — from Yuba College and Tabor College as a player, to head coaching and pitching coach roles at the Kansas Cannons and Sierra College, to most recently serving as Head of Throwing Development at Hyperthrive Athletics.
Tommy began his collegiate career at Yuba Community College, where he developed a passion for strength and conditioning, Driveline protocols, and coaching. He went on to Tabor College, earning his bachelor's degree in health while playing a key role on the pitching staff — earning First Team All-Conference honors and helping lead the program to multiple NAIA Regional Playoff appearances.
After his playing career, Tommy earned his MBA from Tabor College while serving as a graduate assistant baseball coach, specializing in pitching development, implementing Rapsodo technology, and overseeing the strength and conditioning program.
Tommy then took his first head coaching position with the Kansas Cannons, where he was named Coach of the Year after leading the team to a 35-15 record and its first-ever Final Four appearance at the NBC World Series.
During this time, Tommy also served as pitching coach at Sierra College from 2019 to 2023. There, he oversaw pitching development, earned Big 8 Conference Assistant Coach of the Year honors, and helped lead the program to multiple postseason appearances, including a trip to the state championship Final Four.
Tommy most recently served as Head of Throwing Development at Hyperthrive Athletics, working hands-on with pitchers in both 1:1 and group settings on mechanics, pitch design, and pre- and post-throwing routines, while overseeing the program's overall pitching development.

Every athlete starts with a required evaluation, then trains 1:1 by the session or enrolls in a monthly package.
A one-time, 1:1 evaluation before starting any package. This session is priced separately and is not included in any membership package below — every athlete must complete their evaluation before enrolling in a package.
This assessment matters: it's what allows me to prescribe the right drill work and write a detailed lifting program built specifically for the athlete — not a generic plan.
Every 1:1 session is fully individualized — built around the athlete in front of me, not a generic template. Here's what a session includes:
Band routine, shoulder tube routine, arm activation, and soft tissue work
Drills tailored to the athlete using plyoballs, weighted balls, and baseballs
Bullpens, mechanical work, pitch design, pitch grips, mental game, game preparation, velocity training, and command training
Full remote coaching for athletes who can't train in person — a complete program with direct access to me throughout the week.
An all-encompassing program: 2 days per week of small-group throwing sessions, plus every add-on included.
